Here’s what you can do to take action!

  1. Attend HOMES meetings.
HOMES is now holding our regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month  at 6:30 pm at Cotton Expressions, 814 Anson Street in Warren (in the former Honeywell Microswitch plant). There is plenty of parking right in front or in the side lot, and the doorbell is by the front door. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks.
  2. Come to our events.
HOMES will continue to host informative events. Please check our home page regularly for upcoming events.
  3. Write to your government. Tell them why you care about Jo Daviess County!
Write to IL Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Thank her for sticking with their complaint against the megadairy until Bos agreed to leave!

Write to Governor Pat Quinn thanking him for his continued support of clean water and family farmers. Ask him to support legislation that would make it easier for cities and counties to deny a permit to an animal factory in their community. Our elected officials should have a voice in the decision making process.

  4. Talk to friends.
Advocates of the megadairy have spewed misinformation for four years. Please print out information from this site or contact us so we can mail you documents to better explain the situation to friends and relatives. Despite sporadic newspaper stories, much of this information has never been presented to the public. We need your help to spread the truth.
  5. Donate Money.
Corporate interests are supporting Bos’s legal team. Our battle is supported by you. You can mail a check to HOMES, PO Box 674, Warren, IL 61087 or donate using a credit card or Paypal. Just click on the Paypal button at the top of this page.
